Clos Call

Menu for Clos Call at New Bahru

Few concepts encapsulate terroir more than France’s famous “Clos”, or walled vineyards. The Cistercian monks raised these impressive erections by hand, to protect unique soils and microclimates and keep wine thieves from poking around in sacred areas.

On 10 January, join us for an exploration of some of France’s most hallowed “Clos”, including the legendary Clos de la Coulee de Serrant and Clos de la Roche. Over 6 different wines and a 3-course French meal at-where else?-Clos at New Bahru, we’ll discuss the history of these sites, debunk myths and answer the age old question: is it really better to use protection?

The monks liked gatekeeping, but we don’t-so we’re looking forward to sharing some hidden gems with you in this first event of 2025!

Early bird pricing ($250) for orders placed and paid by 2359h on Christmas Day.
